Easy Spelling AidEasy Spelling Aid is an easy to use spelling app and translator. Allows the user to easily translate words to and from English and other languages. The app currently supports 22 different languages. Once opened, a microphone appears and the user says a word or a phrase, which then appears on the screen. The word or phrase is shown in “Open Dyslexia Font” (a font where letters have heavy-weighted bottoms which may help dyslexic learners recognize the correct letter and can help the brain from flipping letters).

Hang ArtMemorizing sight words can be very difficult for students with learning disabilities. Using Hang Art, kids can practice sight words through three activities in this app. In a hangman style game, each correct letter guessed reveals a bit more of an illustration representing the word. Incorrect guesses reveal one more piece of a kid hanging on a trapeze bar. When you lose a word, the "hanging man" falls off the monkey bar. When you win a word, you are rewarded with a complete original illustration of that word. Once a word has been “won” kids can practice tracing the word. Kids can also draw pictures of the words they win by using a custom drawing tool. Users can also record, save, and playback digital animated stories using their words.

It allows users to quickly and easily snap a picture of text, convert it, highlight it and listen to it read out loud. A stylus or even your finger can be used to highlight what you need read. Within the study sets of flashcards, there is a text to speech feature, as well as options to create multiple choice/fill in the blank questions on the flashcards themselves. SpeechifySpeechify is a voice-to-speech app. It is best suited for students with Dyslexia and ADD. Document formats that are supported on speechify include PDFs, website links, copied and pasted text, and documents imported from Google Drive, DropBox, or iCloud. You can also take a picture of physical text and have the app scan it and read it back to you. Listening to the text while reading along has been proven to increase levels of comprehension and reading speed. While the text is being read, the word that is being spoken at any given moment is highlighted on the screen, making it easy for the user to follow along. The user may also click on any word in the document to start listening from that word. While listening to/reading a document, you can adjust the volume, skip forward or go backward, and change the speed of the audio. To add a document, click on the plus sign at the bottom of the screen. Then, choose which document format you will be uploading (you can take a picture under the ‘scan’ tab, or upload documents by clicking another tab and following those instructions.

It allows the user to write math problems on the screen by hand, and translates the written problems into computer-typed, easier to read font. It is easy to cross out incorrectly-written parts of the problem, as well as develop calculations over several lines if the problem is long. A history of all calculations is kept on the left tool bar, making is easy for users to go back and look at old work, as well as recover old problems if the problem was not completed.
