Assistive Technology Lending Library
At the Free Public Library in Springfield, NJ, there is an Assistive Technology Lending Library, which is my Gold Award Project. iPads with apps that are targeted towards certain learning disabilities are available for check out, similarly to how you would check out a book, along with non-tech tools such as slant boards, pencil weights, and more. This website is dedicated to informing you about my Gold Award Project!

Understanding Learning Disabilities and Assistive Technology
Assistive Technology is not a crutch for people with learning disabilities, but rather a necessity. Assistive technology makes it possible for kids with learning disabilities to access grade-level curriculum and get the help that they need to succeed. Assistive technology helps to bridge the gap between children with learning disabilities and their peers.
